Gerald’s Ranking Day

 

Scene 1: Ranking Ceremony Begins

Location: Meh Headquarters – Main Hall.

Narrator:
Every year, one day causes more drama than any battle: Ranking Day. It's when every member of the Meh Team learns their official rank. For most, it’s exciting. For Gerald… it’s terrifying.

Gerald (hiding behind a vending machine):
“Maybe if I eat 43 snacks in a row, I’ll gain enough XP to jump ahead of Meh.”

Fart (walks by):
“Bro, you can’t level up by eating cookies.”

Gerald:
“I can try.”

Scene 2: The Leaderboard Reveal

Everyone is gathered. The big screen loads up one by one:

1. Meh – (Of course.)

2. Fart – (Tied with KT in battle wins.)

3. KT

4. Tempo

5. Mads
   ...
   30. Gerald

Gerald (jaw drops):
“I’m not last! I’m... THIRTIETH!”

Narrator:
Out of 31.

Gerald:
“Oh no…”

Scene 3: Flashbacks of Gerald’s “Wins”

(Montage showing Gerald accidentally defeating a villain by tripping, spilling juice on a control panel, and once saving the team by pressing the wrong button that actually worked.)

Gerald (proudly):
“Genius. Accidental genius.”

Scene 4: Confronting the Bottom Ranker

Narrator:
But Gerald wasn’t last. That honor went to Ploop, a jelly-like sidekick who can’t even speak.

Ploop (bounces up and down sadly)

Gerald (comforting):
“Don’t worry, Ploop. Next year, we’ll both move up!”

Ploop turns red and EXPLODES into battle mode, suddenly defeating three training bots.

Narrator:
And just like that, Gerald became Rank 31.

Scene 5: Ending Twist

Meh:
“Gerald… you may be last in rank, but you’re first in entertainment.”

Gerald (tearing up):
“That’s all I’ve ever wanted.”

Fart:
“No, it’s not. You literally paid a hacker to rig the leaderboard.”

Gerald:
“I REGRET NOTHING!”
