The Glitch in MehTime
– A Meh Series Story
Chapter 1: Something’s Off
It started as a normal Tuesday. Meh, Mads, Gerald, KT, and Tempo were training on the cliffs of MehPoint when gravity flipped. KT floated upward mid-kick and crashed into a hovering tree. Tempo froze mid-sentence. Time blinked. Everyone’s clothes briefly turned into 8-bit pixels.
“Um… guys?” said Meh. “Did we just get hacked?”
A giant crack opened in the sky, revealing gears and cogs spinning behind the clouds. Time itself was breaking.
Chapter 2: Enter Chronix
Back at HQ, Tempo discovered the source: a Glitch Seed planted at the heart of the MehVerse. The logs traced it to a figure named Chronix—a former Time Division agent who tried to use timeline loops to become unstoppable… but failed and disappeared. Now, he was back.
“Chronix is trying to rewrite the MehVerse. If we don’t stop him,” Tempo said, “this world will reset into chaos.”
Meh rallied the team. They had to jump into fractured timelines to shut down the Glitch Seed’s effects—each one a portal into a different version of reality.
Chapter 3: The Timelines
-
Timeline 1: Reverse Mehverse
In this world, Gerald is the main leader, Meh is a sidekick, and Mads is a villain. The team has to convince their evil counterparts to help them fix a corrupted hourglass hidden in Mount Flippity. -
Timeline 2: Future Broken
A robotic future where the team is long gone… except one old warrior: Tempo, fused with time-tech, living alone. He gives them a fragment of the Master Clock and a warning: “One of you isn’t real.” -
Timeline 3: LoopTrap
Gerald gets stuck reliving the time he accidentally ate an expired energy burrito before a match. Over and over. He finally breaks free using sheer willpower (and duct tape).
Chapter 4: The Truth Revealed
As they travel, signs point to something wrong with Mads. She glitches more often than the others, and sometimes disappears completely. In the penultimate timeline, Tempo runs a scan.
Mads is a time clone.
Chronix had replaced her weeks ago. The real Mads was trapped inside the Glitch Seed.
Meh is heartbroken, but Clone Mads, gaining emotions of her own, defies Chronix and helps them reach the Core.
Chapter 5: Final Fight – Chronix’s Clock Tower
In the final scene, the team arrives at the towering Clock Citadel, where Chronix awaits. He’s surrounded by gears spinning backward and forward, time-lost monsters, and echoes of deleted timelines.
“Why fix a broken world,” he sneers, “when you can rewrite it?”
The battle is brutal. KT and Gerald fight monsters made from their worst memories. Tempo slows time to dodge Chronix’s attacks. Meh confronts the villain head-on—only to get knocked down hard.
Clone Mads sacrifices herself to shut down the Glitch Seed from the inside.
With her help, Meh channels a final burst of pure time energy and shatters Chronix’s core clock, ending the glitch.
Chapter 6: Aftermath
Time stabilizes. The skies return to blue. Real Mads is freed. Clone Mads fades away with a final smile.
The team returns to Meh HQ, changed forever.
Tempo updates the leaderboard:
-
Meh: #1 for saving reality
-
Tempo: #2 for timeline mastery
-
Gerald: #3 (he finally broke his loop!)
-
KT: #4
-
Mads: #5 (with an asterisk: “Rescued from Time Prison”)
But deep underground, a leftover piece of the Glitch Seed pulses one last time…
To be continued.
