Part 2 — Dual Eclipse: The Battle Begins

Shadow-Cam and Heartbreaker didn’t waste time.

They chose midnight — the hour when the sky looked like bruised metal, and the moon was perfectly centered above the abandoned Meh Arena. The arena lights flickered on by themselves, glowing a deep red and purple. It was the official sign:

The villains were ready.

1. The Setup

Camden arrived first, fists clenched, trying to look calm even though he was definitely Not Calm™ inside.

Sweetheart arrived seconds later, her aura flickering unstable colors — pink, gold, blue — all tangled together. She kept looking over her shoulder, paranoid Heartbreaker would appear behind her at any moment.

“Ready?” Camden asked.

“No,” Sweetheart said. “But I’m here.”

They stepped into the arena.

Two shadows formed on the opposite side.

Shadow-Cam appeared first, smirking.

Heartbreaker materialized next, floating above the ground, arms crossed, hair drifting like smoke.

“Ahh,” Shadow-Cam said. “The originals finally decided to show up.”

Heartbreaker chuckled. “Let’s end this quickly. I have better things to replace.”

2. Opening Clash

Shadow-Cam launched first — speed so fast Camden barely saw him. He appeared behind Camden in an instant.

SLASH—!

Camden blocked with a spinning kick, but Shadow-Cam activated Reverse Impact — and Camden got blasted backward anyway, skidding across the floor.

“Seriously?” Camden groaned. “I hate that move.”

Meanwhile Sweetheart charged forward, fists glowing with bright energy.

Heartbreaker only smirked.

CRUSH PULSE.

A purple explosion of emotion blasted out. Sweetheart froze in mid-air, her mind flooding with all the old feelings she tried so hard to ignore — embarrassment, jealousy, insecurity, heartbreak.

Her aura sputtered.

Heartbreaker grabbed her chin.

“Poor Sweetheart. You fake confidence so well.”

Sweetheart shook, but whispered, “I’m not fake. I’m just afraid.”

Her aura sparked.

Heartbreaker’s grip tightened.

3. Camden’s Turning Point

Camden pushed himself up and charged at Shadow-Cam again.

Punch.

Dodge.

Kick.

Counter.

But Shadow-Cam matched him perfectly — almost like he knew Camden’s moves before Camden did.

Then it hit Camden:

Shadow-Cam wasn’t just copying him…

He was predicting him.

“You think too loud,” Shadow-Cam taunted.

Camden gritted his teeth.

He had one bad habit: he always went for the “cool move” instead of the smart one.

So Camden changed it up.

Instead of a flip kick, he did a simple jab — fast and boring.

Shadow-Cam wasn’t ready.

BAM!

He stumbled back.

Camden smirked. “Guess the cooler version isn’t actually smarter.”

Shadow-Cam growled.

4. Sweetheart’s Awakening

Heartbreaker lifted Sweetheart into the air with a psychic choke.

“Give up. You can’t beat what you refuse to face.”

Sweetheart’s eyes filled… but she didn’t cry.

Instead, she grabbed Heartbreaker’s wrist.

“Maybe you’re right,” she whispered. “Maybe I am scared… jealous… insecure.”

Her aura burst white-hot.

“But those don’t control me. They make me stronger.”

A shockwave blasted out — breaking Heartbreaker’s hold and sending her flying back.

Heartbreaker hissed, arms shielding her face. “What—?!”

Sweetheart stood tall, aura blazing like a sunrise.

“This is MY heart. You don’t get to own any part of it.”

5. Dual Eclipse (Unleashed)

Shadow-Cam and Heartbreaker regrouped beside each other.

“Enough,” Heartbreaker snapped.

Shadow-Cam nodded.

They raised their hands.

The sky above the arena twisted — half purple, half red — crashing together in a swirling circle.

Dual Eclipse.

The entire arena shook like it was going to tear apart.

“Camden—” Sweetheart called out.

“Yeah?”

“If this hits us, we’re vaporized.”

“Cool cool cool… so we dodge?”

“No. We counter.”

6. The Combined Counterattack

Sweetheart joined hands with Camden.

Her energy flowed into him; his physical strength stabilized her aura.

Together they charged their combined strike:

Harmony Breaker.

A glowing sphere of pink-blue-gold formed between their palms, spinning faster and faster.

Shadow-Cam and Heartbreaker released Dual Eclipse.

The villains’ attack shot downward like a collapsing star.

Camden and Sweetheart launched Harmony Breaker upward at the same moment.

The two attacks collided.

BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM—

A shockwave ripped through the entire arena, shattering the floor, blowing dust into the sky, and lighting up the night like dawn.

For a moment, the world disappeared in white light.

7. Aftermath

When the light faded, Camden and Sweetheart stood in the center of a crater, breathing hard.

Shadow-Cam lay broken, glitching, his form fading in and out.

Heartbreaker knelt beside him, cracks spreading across her armor.

“This isn’t over,” she hissed. “You can’t erase what we are.”

“Maybe not,” Sweetheart said softly. “But we can control it.”

Both villains vanished into smoke, not destroyed — just weakened.

They would return.

But not today.

Camden bumped Sweetheart’s shoulder. “We make a pretty good team.”

She smiled. “We always have.”
