Nova vs. Slick G

The sky above Meh City shimmered purple as Nova floated down onto the glass rooftop of the Power Tower. His aura glowed like a comet, crackling with cosmic energy. Tonight, a new challenger had arrived.

From the shadows, a smooth voice echoed.

“Heh… you must be Nova. The shiny new star everyone’s talking about.”

A figure stepped forward — Slick G. He wore a silver jacket that reflected the city lights, dark shades over his eyes, and a confident grin. Wherever he walked, the ground gleamed like polished marble. His power: Absolute Style Control. Anything he touched became sleek, fast, and untouchably smooth.

Nova crossed his arms. “Style won’t save you in a real fight.”

Slick G snapped his fingers. Instantly, the rooftop transformed into a shining chrome arena. Nova’s boots slid — no friction.

“Try moving now,” Slick G laughed, gliding effortlessly across the surface like he was skating on air.

Nova smirked. “Then I’ll just rewrite the rules.”

His body flared bright white. Gravity bent. The slick floor shattered into floating shards. Nova leapt between them, gathering starlight in his palms.

A beam shot forward — but Slick G spun, turning the beam into a glittering ribbon that wrapped around Nova’s arms.

“Everything looks better under my control,” Slick G whispered.

For a moment, Nova was trapped. The city watched from below. Even Meh’s team monitors flickered.

Then Nova closed his eyes.

A quiet voice echoed in his mind: Stars don’t need style to shine.

Nova erupted with pure astral force. The ribbons dissolved. The chrome world cracked and faded. The rooftop returned to normal.

Slick G slid backward, shades cracking.
