Meh Series: The Mystery Button
It was a perfectly normal afternoon when Meh spotted a giant red button in the middle of the living room.
It had one label:
“DO NOT PRESS.”
Meh stared at it.
“…I’m gonna press it.”
Just as his finger got close, DT ran in.
“Meh! Don’t!”
KT followed. “It’s obviously a trap.”
Alexis crossed her arms. “For once, listen to the sign.”
Mads shrugged. “Actually… I’m kind of curious too.”
Meh grinned.
CLICK.
Nothing happened.
Everyone looked around.
“…See?” Meh said. “Totally fi—”
BEEP.
The floor disappeared.
“AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!”
The five of them fell into a glowing tunnel before landing in…
…a world where everything was upside down.
Trees grew downward from the sky.
Fish swam through the air.
Clouds rolled across the ground.
Even gravity kept changing every few seconds.
A floating robot appeared.
“WELCOME TO THE RANDOM DIMENSION!”
“YOU HAVE TEN MINUTES TO COMPLETE THREE CHALLENGES OR YOU’LL BE STUCK HERE UNTIL SOMEONE PRESSES THE RESET BUTTON.”
Meh blinked.
“…There’s a reset button?”
The robot pointed to a mountain… floating upside down.
Challenge 1: Dodge the Flying Chickens
Hundreds of chickens zoomed across the sky like rockets.
“Why chickens?!” DT yelled.
Meh simply jumped on one like it was a skateboard.
“WOOOOOO!”
KT sighed.
“Only Meh would surf a chicken.”
Challenge 2: Solve the Riddle
A giant stone asked:
“What gets bigger the more you take away?”
Everyone thought.
Alexis smiled.
“A hole.”
The stone rumbled.
CORRECT!
A bridge appeared.
Challenge 3: Reach the Reset Button
The button floated above a lava lake.
Mads built a bridge out of giant marshmallows.
“Why marshmallows?”
“They were free.”
The bridge somehow worked.
Meh reached the button.
“Should I press it?”
Everyone yelled:
“YES!!”
CLICK!
FLASH!
Everyone landed back in the living room.
The mysterious red button was gone.
Only a note remained.
“Congratulations! You survived the Random Dimension. Please stop pressing mysterious buttons.”
Meh looked around.
“…Worth it.”
Just then…
Another button appeared.
This one was blue.
Its label read:
“Seriously… DON’T.”
Meh smiled.
“See you next episode…” 😄
