ROOT VS. DESTRUCTION MAN 🌱💥

The ground beneath Mehearth suddenly cracked.

BOOM!

Root stepped forward, vines wrapping around his arms.

“Destruction Man… this ends now.”

Destruction Man laughed. “Everything ends when I destroy it.”

He slammed his fist into the ground, sending a shockwave across the battlefield.

Root planted his feet.

WHOOOOSH! 🌿

Massive roots burst from the ground and blocked the blast.

Destruction Man charged through them.

CRASH!

Root was thrown backward, but he quickly recovered.

“You’re strong,” Root said. “But you’re forgetting one thing…”

The entire battlefield began filling with vines.

“I don’t need to beat you with one attack.”

Destruction Man looked around.

“…Oh no.”

The vines wrapped around his arms and legs.

Root pulled them tighter.

ROOT LOCK!

Destruction Man struggled.

“LET ME GO!”

Then Destruction Man unleashed his ultimate attack:

DESTRUCTION WAVE!

The vines shattered.

But Root had already disappeared underground.

Destruction Man looked around.

“Where did he—”

BOOM!

Root erupted from beneath him, launching Destruction Man into the sky.

Destruction Man spun through the air.

Root raised one hand.

A gigantic tree grew beneath him and launched a final wave of roots upward.

ROOT’S FINAL STRIKE: WORLD TREE!

The roots caught Destruction Man and slammed him safely into the ground.

Silence.

Root stood over him.

“Destruction isn’t the only power in this world.”

Destruction Man slowly smiled.

“Heh… you’re better than I thought.”

Suddenly, a tiny crack appeared in the ground.

Root’s eyes widened.

“Wait…”
